About this plant
Create stunning contrast with Summerific® Evening Rose Hibiscus, featuring hot pink flowers with crimson centers that pop against near-black foliage from mid to late summer. The large glossy leaves emerge green in spring before transforming to burgundy with dark red veining and gray tones, providing season-long interest even when not in bloom. This bold perennial reaches 4 feet tall with a 5-foot spread, making it perfect for mass plantings that demand attention, mixed borders where its dark foliage contrasts with lighter plants, or as a specimen plant. The coarse texture and dramatic color combination create a striking focal point in sunny beds and borders. Deer resistant and attractive to butterflies and hummingbirds.
