Alsip's Kingsbury Acres Grower Outlet" formerly Blooms Greenhouse is brought to you by the Alsip Home & Nursery family of businesses. The Alsip ownership team purchased the wholesale growing operation in 2008 and opened wholesale in 2009, but then opened up Blooms Greenhouse for retail in 2014 and operated it under that brand name for the first 11 years that we opened our wholesale growing facility to the public. Alsip's team has brought high quality plants to the LaPorte area at grower outlet prices and will continue to do so under the new branding of Alsip's Kingsbury Acres Grower Outlet. In addition to our grower outlet store, we are also wholesale growers of bedding plants, mums, perennials, shrubs and poinsettias. As we expand our product offerings and still maintain our grower outlet prices, owners Bill, Rich and Dave Christakes will continue to bring the quality and expertise of Alsip Home & Nursery, which is the largest and most comprehensive garden center company in all of Chicagoland and Northwest Indiana to the outlet store to provide a unique "shop directly from the grower" experience.
