Alsip Nursery is pleased to announce the upcoming rebrand of Blooms Greenhouse Grower Outlet to “Alsip’s Kingsbury Acres Grower Outlet”. While the name is changing, what customers love most is not. 

Located in Kingsbury, Indiana just south of LaPorte, Blooms Greenhouse has always been part of the Alsip Nursery family of businesses, and this rebrand is simply a way to better reflect that connection while highlighting the exciting growth and expansion planned for the store. Kingsbury Acres will continue to operate as a true grower outlet, offering the same high-quality plants Blooms customers expect — at the same great outlet prices. 

We want to be very clear: this rebrand will not result in any price increases. In fact, even Alsip Nursery’s main retail locations are actively lowering prices for 2026 on several key items, including: 

• 4.33" premium annuals   
• 11" premium combination hanging baskets   
• Starter vegetables   
• Annual 4-packs   

At Alsip’s Kingsbury Acres, customers will continue to enjoy plants priced approximately 30% lower than Alsip’s main retail stores on most annuals, perennials and shrubs, maintaining the outlet-style savings Blooms has always been known for. 

All Blooms gift cards will continue to be honored and may be redeemed at Alsip’s Kingsbury Acres Grower Outlet without issue. 

So why the change? The new name reflects an expanded vision. As Alsip’s Kingsbury Acres Grower Outlet, customers can look forward to: 

• A broader product selection   
• Open longer, including for Christmas and houseplant season.  
• Fresh-cut porch pots and fresh-cut Christmas trees during the holiday season   
• More in-store events throughout the year
